Itinerary Details

Day 1

Arrive before 6:00pm. We will have a group dinner (meal not included) and take a walk through a historical park.

Day 2

Eagle River Adventure – This 4-hour excursion takes you along Alaska’s coast and inside passage in protected waters and into estuaries. These are the best places for spotting wildlife like Alaska Coastal Brown Bears, Sitka Blacktail Deer, American Bald Eagles, River Otters, Mink, and many other species of birds. After exploring the shoreline, we will disembark at Eagle River Estuary for a 2-hour guided hike. Lunch will be at a favorite local food truck followed by historical site visits and a group dinner. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 3

Big Hike – Today’s point-to-point hike covers 7 miles and takes about 5-6.5 hours. Prepare for a challenging trek with breathtaking views along a mountain ridgeline trail, climbing about 3200 feet in elevation. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 4

Kayak and Hot Springs – After a 45-minute boat ride south, we’ll meet our kayak guide to explore the islands, tide pools, and estuaries, with potential sightings of sea life. Afterward, relax at the hot springs, featuring private tubs with ocean views. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 5

Deep Sea Fishing – Begin the day with a 5:00am departure for deep-sea fishing. Experience Sitka’s world-renowned fishing grounds for salmon, halibut, and cod, with a captain and deckhand provided. Gear is included, and your catch will be packaged for travel home. We’ll conclude the day with a group dinner. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 6

Departure Day – We will coordinate your airport transportation. If time allows, enjoy some last-minute shopping. Meals included: breakfast.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Trip deposit: $500 (non-refundable but transferable to a future date). The final payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure and is non-refundable but transferable to a future date. Cancelations within 2 weeks or less to departure are non-refundable. Exceptions for a full refund include family death, travel restrictions, or severe illness (proof required).
